Reflection

Ok to start I will admit this project caught me off guard. I wasn’t aware of its importance til we were knee deep (which could very well be my own fault). However as time went on, things leveled out, I got my work done and the project actually became almost enjoyable. I really enjoyed the interview process and I thought it was very amusing to see all the groups get into it. Personally I was very happy with my group and I think we know now from working together in the past that we work well together. I think that we each have the capability to carry our weight and not have one person do too much work on their own. My interview itself was a little stressful, which I was kind of surprised how much it got into my head. Maybe because I was thrown in the pit first. Despite the initial nerves, it was actually easier than I expected once I began to look at it as a conversation rather than something so intimidating. Being on the flip side of the table was something I liked better. I liked interviewing the candidates and being the intimader rather than the intimidated. Kidding… of course. I think my group was actually the opposite of intimidating. While remaining serious, we were also able to create a comfortable atmosphere for the people being interviewed. I hope at least. The rejection letter drafts were funny and entertaining to write, while also teaching us how to write them of course. I think it added a humorous part to this project because everyone was laughing while we were separated to write them. Overall this project seemed like it went very well and it was something that captured my attention along with the rest of the classes as it seems like we all put a lot of effort into our different roles.
