This handbook was crafted specifically for the freshman who come to UNE and are a little unsure where to start with their college experience. It also can be used by anyone who needs a little help along the way. Coming to college is not always easy and not everyone can instantly find their path. We put this together so that students have something they can refer to and also understand that it’s ok to need support or advice. In this informational handbook we talk about life lessons, give advice and even include resources for where students can get help. Within the life lessons page, we have three different big lessons that we believed most students would relate to which are social, academic and athletic. The authors of this handbook have relatively diverse habits and so it was easy to split up into the different categories and write about each. Then in the advice page we spoke to faculty and multiple upperclassmen on campus to gather their opinions and you guessed it, tell us their advice for the upcoming students. Lastly in the resources section we put together different locations and habits that we believed could help students who need assistance or are looking for extra help. We hope that this handbook can supply students with what they need and is also an enjoyable read along the way.
