Week 4

This week I chose two pictures that I believe were posted for different contexts. One image is one for humor and the other one was posted specifically for advertising reasons. I noticed that Dunkin seemed a little less active than they were last week also. Anyways the first photo I looked at was a funny one. It was a post that is a common meme format where someone responds to a text saying they are ok when they actually really are not and the reason they were not ok was because they didn’t get a dunkin coffee. Instagram has likes turned off, so again we can’t really see how well it did likewise but at the time I looked at it, it had 218 comments. From previous weeks it seems like 200 is definitely on the higher side meaning a lot of people may have liked or related to this post. The other picture I looked at was just an ad for the dunkin halloween cups, which has 1,152 comments. This kind of surprised me to see how many comments it had but also everyone goes crazy for some cute fall/halloween things so it does kind of make sense.
