Journal #13

Journal #13: As of right now I feel like I am in a good place for my story. The person that I chose to interview for my profile piece is Jeanette. I do not know her last name yet but she is a lunch lady in the UNE cafeteria. She is well liked around campus and Luke from class even spoke up about how happy he gets when she has his order memorized. Personally I am a fan of when she calls me sweet pea, makes my day. I was nervous to ask her as I was not sure of how to go about it but I ended up literally asking her while she was mid making my sandwich. She seemed very happy when I asked her and I think she really enjoys being involved in students’ lives on campus. She works almost everyday and I am going to try and get some questions sorted out and then talk to her tomorrow morning. I’m excited to talk to her and see what she has to say about what she does.
