Journal #1:
In my opinion journalism can be anything from writing for a company with a certain prompt to simply writing down the things that happen to you throughout the day. There are many different types of journaling whether it be “how to” articles, news reports, diary entries or restaurant reviews.I think that each type of journalism is important in its own way, for example reading personally written articles is a nice way to learn about information in a more informal way than watching the news. Or if you’re looking into trying out a new restaurant, what could be a better way to know if it’s any good than by reading a review written by a real person? Now if journaling to you is simply writing in a notebook for the sake of yourself, I’d say that it is a very helpful habit to pick up since it can be really beneficial for mental health. Being able to sort your thoughts with a pen and paper can help a person figure out their feelings instead of just thinking about them over and over all day long. Despite the many different categories of journalism, a good journalist is honest, informed and can communicate their words with character.
