Student outcome #6: This learning outcome involves the crafting of reasonably well-formatted sentences. (Word count 203).
If you know me at all you know that spelling and grammar are not my strong suit. When I’m texting, autocorrect is my best friend and my closest friends have adapted to reading my flawed typing style. When I’m writing essays, I do still have the ability to put together a good sentence, just sometimes the words are not spelled right. My sentences have proper word choice so it doesn’t sound bad to read, the spelling part just isn’t always there.
Thesis from essay #1.
I included a picture of my thesis from the first essay because I think it is a really strong sentence of mine and shows some good word choice. I do think that I have the ability to be a good writer, I’m just not the best typer.
A text to my friends.
This is not quite an example of my bad typing in an essay, since those mistakes have been all corrected but this is an example of a text to my friend. It goes to show that sometimes my fingers just move a little faster (or slower) than my brain. Overall though my sentences are strong, they sometimes just take a little bit to get to that point.
